I am so sorry to hear about David's death. My memories of him go back to when we were in first grade and he was in third. I never remember him not smiling. He was always a positive influence to everyone he interacted with and will always make people's heart smile when they remember him. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Joy and family - my deepest sympathies. Words fail me. You know how much I enjoyed being in both Dave's and your company whenever I made it back to Charleroi. He always laughed at just about anything I said, regardless of how unfunny it really was. Dave as organizer of so many outings was one of the main reasons I would drive 5 hours to get there. He made it happen and got everyone on board for no other reason than to have a great time together. What better legacy is there? Life was so much better because of him, and it's a vacuum that's hard to fill.

My deepest Sympathy to you Joy, Carlene, and the rest of your family. David was like a brother to me. Being Bone's best friend, he was always around. So sorry to hear about Dave's passing. My condolences to the entire family. I have great memories of playing sandlot sports with him on the streets and playgrounds of Charleroi and cannot picture him without a big smile on his face. Will miss him dearly.
