Donna was my best childhood friend. I am so lucky I got to spend a week with her in early May. She was the friend I could call anytime and it was like we never apart. I am so sad, and know she will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my good friend and see you in heaven

My deepest sympathy to all of Donna's family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. I have many memories of her strong spirit and caring ways. I was one of her instructors at WHSN. Donna shared many stories of her life with me - stories of Al and Raquel especially. I got to watch Donna grow in her career at Washington Hospital and shared her joy when she earned her degrees and when she became an educator. Donna surely had the heart of a nurse. She would be so thrilled to read her students thought so much of her as to send a condolence. I am sorry to know that we have lost her and at such a young age. Donna and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Respectfully yours,
