Life can be so cruel. I enjoyed working with you George, treasured our relationship, talking about soccer and coaching, and you laughing at all of my lame jokes and stupid "boy talk." I just love this picture you chose of George! This is how we want to remember him - smiling and pink-cheeked, sporting his "Prime-Time" Deion Sanders gear and proud of it! I knew it was kool for me to be a Cowboy's fan, too, if Georgie was around. I can't say it enough - today and everyday, my heart and prayers go out to you all. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of this young man. I always enjoyed being associated with George -- initially as a young soccer player and then later in life. He was an outstanding athlete, yes, but I will remember him as a gentleman with respect for others and a keen sense of humor. I recall that I could not get him to call me by my first name for a long time. He insisted on calling me Mr. Paglia. Then,
one day at the Norwin soccer complex, he greeted me with a "Hey, Ron, how are you?" I always enjoyed and appreciated our friendship.
God will look after him.
