John M. Meikle, Jr. 94 of Voorhees Township, New Jersey, formally of Fallowfield Township, died Friday, October 7, 2016, at his residence in Brookdale of Voorhees.  He was born October 11, 1921 in North Charleroi, a son of the late John and Leota Meikle.  Mr. Meikle was a member of the Charleroi Presbyterian Church.  He is survived by his son John Meikle, III and his wife Kathy of Washougal, Washington, his daughter Janet Chase and her husband James, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, four grandchildren, John Chase, John Meikle, Amy Gunn and Nancy Carabasi; eleven great grandchildren, and his sisters Frances Anderson of Charleroi and Agnes Biagini of North Charleroi.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Meikle was preceded in death by his wife Ann Meikle, and three brothers; William, Charles, and  Scott.  Friends will be received Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at The SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC.  226 Fallowfied Avenue, Charleroi.  Interment will be in the Monongahela Cemetery.  Online condolences are being accepted for the family at www.schrock-hogan.com.
