Mildred Waggoner, 92 of Charleroi, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in the Thropes Personal Care, North Charleroi. She was born January 27, 1924 in Charleroi, the daughter of the late Lester and Maggie Chalfant Waggoner. Mildred was a member of the First Christian Church in Charleroi, Corning Retirees and the AARP Charleroi Charleroi. She retired from Corning Glass Works Charleroi Plant. Mildred is survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by six brothers Howard, Ellsworth, Eugene, Judson “Popeye”, Wilbur and Roy Waggoner and an infant sister Dorothy Waggoner. Friends will be received Thursday from 11:00 till 11:45a.m.the Schrock-Hogan Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave.Charleroi.
